Do you often have games that are made for more players than you have ready to play a game? Invent a new set of rules!
One of the things we do to make Apples to Apples more fun for us when there’s only three of us around is we let a stuffed animal play. They have a small pile of cards in front of them and they throw in one or two. This makes it so that the judge could end up picking one of their cards as the winner! Sometimes, we’ve even played this way and the stuffed animal with the random card entries ends up winning!
Having the kids think about new rules and scoring, you can expand their mind even more beyond where the game takes them.
